Holiday Hours and Special Occasions

The Children's Place is open year around, Monday through Friday, 6:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. The center is closed on the following days:

New Year's Day
Memorial Day
Independence Day
Labor Day
Thanksgiving Day
Christmas Day

When the holiday falls on a Saturday or Sunday the center will be closed either the preceding Friday or the following Monday after the holiday. This allows the staff to have an enjoyable holiday as well.

In the event of a heavy snow storm, we will open the center as soon as two staff can safely arrive and open the building. If closing, a decision will be made by 5:30 a.m. and a message may be left on the answering machine at the center for parents to retrieve. Please listen to KFOR and KFRX for closing information or you may also check this website. Snow days are charged as regular days of operation.
